16-7-2009 - Dhankuta toiled hard to beat Darchula 1-0 to lift the title of Inter-School National Games here at ANFA Complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur.
Chitrakala Limbu scored the match winning goal for Dhankuta in 41st minute. The match was lively contested and flury of goal scoring chances were missed by both teams.
In Boy's category, Syangja defeated Tanahu 4-2 to enter final of the tournament. Subash Gurung struck twice and Pum Bahadur Gurung, Bijaya Gurung added apiece for Syangja while Shanker Dura and Sishir Thapa scored for Tanahu.
Syangja will meet Kavre in the final match on Friday at Dasrath stadium.
