Kathamndu April 19, The Hong Kong Nepalese Football Association (HNFA) and Friends Club, Lalitpur, cruised into the quarter finals of the 2nd 7-A-Side Pepsi International Inter Club Tournament on Sunday, at Dasharath Stadium, Kathamndu.
HNFA recorded a 2-1 win over Trinity Club, while Friends Club defeated West Bengal, 3-1. Naren Limbu opened the account for HNFA in the ninth minute, and Dipen Ale added another in the 34th minute. Rakesh Lama scored the consolation goal for Trinity, in the 28th minute.
In the other match, Nirajan Khadka, Nur Raj Kaphle and Aajad Pradhan netted one goal each as Friends Club ousted visitors West Bengal. Mohomad Alam pulled one back for West Bengal.
The quarterfinal matches will starts from Monday.
