Nepal crushes East Timor five unaswered goals

Nepal ranked 148th in the world completely destroyed East Timro in the 2nd qualifying match by scoring five unanswered goals. Nepal never really gave East Timor any chances and went to attack from the very start.  Correia fouled Jagjeet Shrestha in the 3rd minute inside the penalty box. The resultant penalty was converted by Anil Gurung which put Nepal 1-0 ahead early in the match. As the match progressed Nepalese boys never lost their focus but were unable to add to the scoreline before the first half.

Nepalese team again started in attacking mentality and got their reward in 56th minute. Bhola Silwal scored 2nd goal for Nepal. Jumanu Rai scored a beautiful goal as well as 3rd one for Nepal in 60th minute. He was later substituted in 64th minute by Sujal Shrestha. East Timor got a golden opportunity in 71st minute but could not hit it in target. Jagjeet Shrestha added 4th goal for Nepal in 89th minute and than substitute Sujal added Nepal's 5th in 90th minute. This was one of the most convincing win for Nepal in recent international matches. Jumanu Rai now becomes 2nd highest international goal scorer for Nepal (level with Nepalese legend Ganesh Thapa) with his tally of  goals.

Nepalese team coach Graham Roberts added "I was confident of winning the match" after the match. He was seen wearing Daura Suruwal in the first half of the match. Nepal now enters into 2nd qualifying round and meets 84th ranked Jordan in July 23 and July 28. Both matches will be played in Jordan. Let's hope Nepal can perform some miracle against the mighty opponents.
