KATHMANDU, June 29: Ten-man Nepal created history by winning a World Cup qualifying match at the home ground against East Timor 2-1 in the Asian Qualifiers of 2014 FIFA World Cup held at Dasharath stadium on Wednesday.
Jumanu Rai and Anil Gurung scored the goals in 70th and 15th minutes for Nepal while the only goal for East Timor was scored by Correia in the 48th minute.
Bharat Khawas of Nepal was expelled from the match after he garnered two yellow cards.
