Coach KC faces one-match ban

KATHMANDU, March 16: The All Nepal Football Association has imposed a one-match ban on Machhindra Club´s coach Dhruba KCon Monday. KC will not be permitted to stay in the player´s box in their vital match against Manang Marshyangdi Club to be held on Wednesday.

KC had strongly criticized a referee´s decision on Sunday after their goal was declared offside in the match against Nepal Police Club that ended in a goalless draw. KC had claimed to the press that a rebound ball from goalkeeper cannot be declared offside.

According to ANFA CEO Indraman Tuladhar, coach KC was handed the ban following the report by the match commissioner and the fourth official.

Meanwhile, aggressive Machhindra fans have hurled pieces of flex toward the track after the incident. ANFA has also warned the club not to repeat such actions in future.
