12 August 2009 - Radhika High School, Morang, won second consecutive match of the ongoing Coca-Cola Cup Inter-school Football Tournament held at the ANFA Complex, Satdobato, on Thursday, to secure berth in the semifinal from Group ´D´.
A solitary goal from Akun Lingden helped Radhika beat Ribs School 1-0 in the competitive match of the day. Akun scored in the 78th minute to make his school the first team to book the semifinal berth.
Earlier in the first match of the day, Birendra Sainik School hammered Dreamland 15-0. Anup Subedi emerged hero in the victory of army school as he struck eight goals to give the team a landslide victory. Likewise, Roshan Rai completed his hatrick and Niraj Pradhan and Ujwal Tiwari scored a brace each.
Similarly, Thekraj High School secured its first win in the tournament defeating Little Moon 3-2. Janak Chaudhary, Bishnu Chaudhary and Krishna Chaudhary scored a goal apiece to give the team a win. For Little Moon, Sujal Pradhan and Dinesh KC scored a goal each. On Sunday, Thekraj had suffered a humiliating 8-2 loss to Janak Boarding School.
Likewise, the match between Siddhartha Boarding School and Arunodaya High School ended in 1-1 draw. Arunodaya took the lead in the 43rd minute through Deepu Shakya´s strike but were unable to hold on the lead as Siddhartha returned back through Devendra Aryal in the 72nd minute.
