13 August 2009 - Janak Boarding School advanced to the semifinal of the Coca-Cola Cup Inter-school Football Tournament from group B on Thursday.Janak secured their place to go through to the final four of the tournament after Little Moon High School failed to show up for the match at ANFA Complex in Satdobato, Lalitpur. Officials awarded full three points and 2-0 goal scoreline to Janak.
In another match under group D, Shanti Boarding school beat Ribs school three goals to nil.
