FIFA Ranking: Maldives tops the region

Maldives tops the region in FIFA’s recently announced ranking. Maldives now lies in the 154th position, which is an increase of two positions compared to last month. India showed a nine position decline and is leveled with Sri Lanka at 156th position.

Pakistan, without any change to their position, is now at 167th followed by Bangladesh at 169th. Nepal is at 176th, Afghanistan at 192nd and Bhutan at 195th.

Australia leads the Asia region followed by Japan and Korea Republic. Maldivian women’s team remains at 94th position, which is without a change compared to last month.
