Adarsha, Triveni in final of Bahundanda Cup Football Champion

Adarsha Club (Shaji) advanced to the finals with a narrow 4-3 win over Adarsha Club (Uttarkanya) in a tiebreaker. The keenly contested battle went into the penalties after ending in a 2-2 draw in normal time. In the tiebreaker, Om Gurung ruined Uttarkanya's hope of a final berth after his shot was denied by Sahaji keeper Sanjay Gurung.

Earlier, Nanda Gurung had given Uttarkanya a 15th minute lead only to be equalised by Dhirendra Gurung towards the half-hour mark. Kanya Prasad put Sahaji in front with his 23rd minute strike in the second half but Raju Gurung pulled the goal back on 28th minute to take the game into extra time.

In the first semifinal, Triveni Moon Star Club romped into the last round with a 7-1 routing of Tara Chowk. Kiss Rana scored a hat-trick in the win. He put Triveni in front in the sixth minute and completed his hat-trick inside 15 minutes.

Suvash Gurung widened the lead a minute later after Rana's hat-trick and added his next just before the interval to take his personal goal count to eight in the tournament, also establishing himself as the front runner for the highest scorer's award in the process. Suresh Shrestha and Ramkumar Gurung added a goal each to complete the rout. Chin Bahadur Ale scored a consolation goal for the losing team.
