AFC U16 Qualifiers: Nepal U16 faces all middle east nations in continental challenge

Nepalese U16 which is coined as a prospect of great future by Graham Roberts will face the greatest challenge yet. Nepal who were expected to win the SAFF cup were knocked out by Indians in the semis.
ANFA will host the AFC U16 Group D Qualifiers in Dasharath Rangasala and Halchowk Stadium, Kathmandu. Nepal will play its first match against Lebanon in 12th September at Dasharath Rangasala. Unlike the U19 Qualifiers, there are no SAFF countries in the group. Nepal will face all the teams from middle east. Nepal are the underdogs in the group in terms of FIFA ranking and past results. Although, Nepal U16 will have the home advantage and hopefully salvage fruitful outcomes.
Group A: Iraq, Iran, Bangladesh, Qatar, Palestine, Sri Lanka
Group B: UAE, Kuwait, Yemen, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Maldives
Group C: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Bahrain, Kyrgyzstan, India
Group D: Syria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Nepal, Lebanon
Group E: DPR Korea, China, Timor Leste, Singapore, Malaysia, Macau
Group F: Japan, Vietnam, Chinese Taipei, Laos, Korea Republic, Cambodia
Group G: Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Guam
