KATHMANDU: Dambar Singh Gurung resigned as the coach of Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) following a run of dissappointing results in the Martyrs Memorial Red Bull ‘A’ Division League here on Sunday.
The Armymen were held to a goalless draw by Bouddha Football Club, the third draw in eight matches, here today. With only two wins so far, they lie 10th in the table. The poor run of results have prompted Gurung to step down from the job.
“We play well, apply constant pressure to opponents but then can not score goals,” said Gurung adding that these sets of player do not have a learning attitude. “ Gurung only joined the department side this year.
