KATHMANDU 27 May 2011: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) today rescheduled the Martyrs Memorial Red Bull ‘A’ Division League.

A meeting of ANFA officials and representatives of the ‘A’ Division clubs came up with the decision due to the Nepal's international commitment.

Nepal is hosting the Asian Zonal 2014 World Cup Qualifying match against Timor-Leste on June 29. Since the league coincided with the Qualifiers, it was decided that Dasharath Stadium will host no games from June 15 to 24.

While the Dasharath Stadium will be prepared for the Qualifier, the domestic league will be held at the Nepal APF Headquarters grounds in Halchowk during the period.

The league will be stopped from June 25 to July 4 to provide national team to prepare for the Timor-Leste match. After their June 29 match at home, Nepal will tour Timor-Leste for an away match on July 3.

Keeping in mind the financial burden the clubs will have to bear due to the league interruption, ANFA has committed at least Rs 10,000 to each of the top-tier clubs. Apart from that, ANFA will also share the profit made from the gate-money collected from the Qualifier.

Meanwhile, ANFA will organise three matches each day beginning from May 30. While Dasharath Stadium will host two matches, one will be held at Halchowk grounds until the end of the 11th round.
