KATHMANDU, Aug 27: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Friday announced the names of the 21 players selected for full scholarship offered by Higher Secondary Schools Association, Nepal (HISSAN).
HISSAN has offered scholarship to 123 SLC pass talented football players selected from across the country by ANFA for higher secondary education. The players selected under the full scholarship scheme will be provided with accommodation and food facilities at the ANFA hostel along with free education by HISSAN.
Remaining players selected for scholarship (partial) will be given only free education by the member colleges of HISSAN. All the selected players will be given regular training by ANFA.
According to ANFA, players selected for full scholarship are: Dipak Shah, Dipesh Jha, Prince Byanjankar, Siman Khadka (A), Raju Khadka, Arun Gurung, Shivaram Giri, Yujan Lama, Kishor Duwal, Prabhat Rai, Kiran Subba, Samir Limbu, Phurba Tshering Yonjan, Danish Pun, Bikram Adhikari, Aita Singh Gurung, Ram Thapa, Laxman Thapa, Shamsher Khatri, Chandra Tamang and Prakash Bista.
