Saraswoti edge Boudha 4-3

KATHMANDU, Dec 23 - Yogesh Gurung scored a hat-trick to give Saraswoti Club a 4-3 win over Boudha Club in the super-league of the Martyrs' Memorial 'B' Division that got underway at the Dashrath Stadium, on Tuesday. The super-league features four teams promoted to the top flight from the 'B' division league held earlier. The four will take on each other to decide the winner of the Martyrs' Memorial 'B' Division League and walk away with Rs. 100,000.

Gurung opened the scoring for Saraswoti in the first half and came back to seal the win in the second after Navin Basnet had doubled the advantage just before the interval. Sumin K. Bhattarai scored a brace while Som Thapa netted the other goal for Boudha. The match saw Saraswoti in complete control in the first half. They got the first goal through Yogesh Gurung in the 17th minute. Navin Basnet got the second for Saraswoti a minute before the end of first half. Boudha Club came back rejuvenated after the interval to score three goals within the final 21 minutes.
