Preparation for AFC Challenge Cup

Nepali football players are busy on preparation for the coming up AFC Challenge Cup qualifying match. Nepal will host the group 'C' matches at Dasharath Stadium Kathmandu from March 26-30. Nepal is grouped along with Palestine, Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan. Each group winner of the qualifying round and the best second placed will qualify for the finals where North Korea, Tajikistan, and India are already automatically qualified. The winners of AFC Challenge Cup competitions 2008 and 2010 will qualify for the AFC Asian Cup 2011 finals in Doha. However, if India successfully defends its 2008 title, the runner up will qualify instead.
All Nepal Football Association will announce the national team on Friday.
