Dharan 16 Feb - Man of the match Bikash Malla leads TAC to the final of 11th Budha Subba Tuborg Gold Cup as he made crucial saves with 3-2 win in tiebreaker over Knight Chess Club of Jhapa.
The match went into tiebreakers after both the teams failed to find the breakthrough in the regulatory and extra time. Malla denied Pravesh Katuwal and Machindra Dhimal in the shoot-out. Likewise, Shiva Chaudhary, Raju Tamang and Santosh Nepal found the back of the net for TAC while Chun Bahadur's attempt was thwarted by keeper Min Bahadur Basnet. Both the teams pressed forward throughout the 90 minutes, missing a handful of chances each. The Armymen will play for the championship against two-time champions Nabil Three Star on Wednesday.
