Dharan, February 14 -Hari Mahato shines once again as he scored a brace in the extra time to guide Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) into the semi-finals of the 11th International Invitational Budha Subba Tuborg Gold Cup with a 3-1 win over rookie ANFA Academy. ANFA had sent TAC crashing out of the tournment in the previous edition.
Armymen dominated the ANFA Academy but wasted too many chances before Daimoj Dhimal put them ahead in the 37th minute. Dhimal tapped in following a pass from Raju Tamang. However, there joy was short- lived as Nirajan Malla cancelled his streke four minutes later placing his shot beynd the advaeing keeper on 41st minute.
Although both the teams had their chances in the latter half, they were unable to break the deadlock extending the match another 30 minutes. Hari Mahato scored both the goals in the extra time. His first came in the opening minutes of the added time before rounding off the in in the 19th minute.
